Inside Sales Representative

Description:

Fishbowl’s Inside Sales team is closing out a great year, and we’re making a few key hires to grow our team and build on its success. Successful applicants will be passionate and dedicated, with exceptional ability to connect with prospects, explain Fishbowl’s value in a clear and compelling manner, and close new business.

Responsibilities:

  • Make contact with a high volume of Fishbowl trial users and prospects on a daily basis, by both phone and email.
  • Quickly ascertain prospect needs and qualify potential opportunities
  • Meet sales objectives and sales quotas for existing and new products
  • Manages the daily work flow, including phone calls and signed agreements
  • Proactively develops ideas that will lead to attainment of sales objectives.
  • Ensures that ideas are contributed to improve upon existing sales and marketing plans and serves as liaison between and other sales team and departments.
  • Educate, encourage, and assist customers with setup and use of Fishbowl’s email and social media products.
  • Provide concise, persuasive product demonstrations via the web.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals by converting trial users and prospects into paying customers.

Requirements:

  • You MUST have at least 1 year  (and preferably 2 or more) of proven success in an inside sales role
  • You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both via phone and email
  • The following experience is strongly preferred
    1. Selling technology and/or marketing services
    2. Selling to small businesses
    3. Selling to restaurants
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
